New audiobook: The Spaceship Next Door

I’m happy to announce that The Spaceship Next Door is now available as an audiobook!GeneDoucette_TheSpaceshipNextDoor_Audio

This was my first time down this path (sort of) and I am extremely pleased with the results. Steve Carlson is the best, and I was lucky to find him.

If you’d like to pick up a copy, here it is on Amazon, where you’ll find it’s free if you’ve never tried Audible before and are willing to sign up for a trial subscription.

It’s also available direct from Audibleand here it is on iTunes!

Coming up next, the book has to get set up with whispersync on Amazon, and I’ll be sure to let everyone know when that happens. I’ll also be sure to explain what whispersync is at at that time, if necessary.

Are you excited? I’m excited.

Just purchased on iTunes! It’s downloading now. Going to be great. Please also do Immortal at the Edge of the World when you get rights to do that!

      Awesome, Lee!

I’m going to end up going backward to go forward with the rest of the books, I think. I’ve made edits to all four of the novels I’m getting in September, so I want new audio editions as well. I’ll probably end up doing all three books and fixer, even though Immortal and Hellenic have versions.

Sounds perfect. I’ll buy all 3 Immortal and Fixer audiobooks. Great to listen to on my hour drive to or from work…

I posted the following review on iTunes, since that’s where I bought it from. I think Audible only lets paid members review?

    Unique and Fantastic Sci-Fi Story

Great audiobook. A unique plot about First (Non-)Contact. A spaceship publicly lands on Earth, and then promptly proceeds to do… absolutely nothing. For years. Add in some clever characters, and an unexpected twist or two, and you have a very enjoyable tale. Good writing, and liked the narrator as well. Definitely recommended!
