The Spaceship Next Door lands in bookstores

Happy re-release day!

The new edition of The Spaceship Next Door is now available wherever books are sold, in whatever format you prefer.

To recap, for those of you new to my website: this edition is being published by the John Joseph Adams imprint of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. (You may also see it branded Mariner Books, which is just unnecessarily complicated. They’re all the same thing. Cool? Cool.) I wrote at length about this decision here, and I wrote last week about getting my hands on the print edition here.

It’s possible the best thing about all of this, right at this very moment, is seeing the book in stores. This image was sent by a fan yesterday:

This was taken in an indie bookstore in Toronto. I’m submitting it as proof that Canada is a day ahead of the rest of us.

I would love more of these! If you visit your local store and see a copy of The Spaceship Next Door there, take a picture and send it to me! I’ll share it on Instagram along with a shout-out, and my eternal gratitude.
