Today’s winner

This morning I overheard someone complaining about where his tax money was going.  “The state claims they’re poor, but then they build this huge thing,” he bitched.  The “thing” in question?  The new public high school in his town.

Readers, when you have reached the point in your life where you’re complaining about your tax money being spent on a public school, it’s time to take a step back and hit yourself in the face with a board.  And when you’re done with that you can drive on the road built with your tax dollars to the state hospital also built with your tax dollars, to see a doctor that may very well be getting paid by your tax dollars.  After he gives you your FDA-approved (the FDA being funded by your tax dollars) painkillers you can go home and take the medicine with a nice big glass of drinking water that is only clean because of your tax dollars.

And when you’ve done all that, hit yourself with the board again.  Please.
