Get Hyped!

I have a new short story in Lightspeed Magazine this month! It’s called “Get Hyped!” and it’s about what happens when a writer spends too much time on his Peloton, wondering if the instructors can see him. (Well, kinda.) It’s the usual blend of funny-but-dystopian you may have come to expect by now.

The Wrong Side of Sundown

About six months ago, I got this idea for a story. Or, I guess, the beginning of a story, which is usually all I need to get writing, which I did. About 27,000 words in, I decided what I had would work better as a novella series, so I went back and rewrote the events of chapter one as a standalone novella.

Then I had to go do something else for a while. But I’m back! And ready to start rolling out books in this new series. The series title is Sunset Station, and book one is The Wrong Side of Sundown. And, great news, you can preorder The Wrong Side of Sundown right now!

The Wisdom of Sand

I know, I know. “Where the curse-word-of-your-choice is book four of Tandemstar?” you’re saying. It’s coming! The only reason it isn’t here already is I’m waiting on a cover, and for time on the audiobook narrator’s calendar. But the book is done, it’s called The Wisdom of Sand, and you should expect to hear more shortly. It  will be out in the first half of 2025.
