Moving forward… at last!
Last evening I received the final proof of the cover for the advance review copy of Immortal. This is sort of an important step, so I’m glad it’s finally done and on its way to the printer. Assuming the printer isn’t hit by a meteor in the next week, ARC’s should be going out in the next week or two.
What is an advance review copy?
For my not-already-writer readers: an ARC comes out before the official publication date. It goes to reviewers and other writers and, well, anybody whose name and good word might help sell it. This is how first print copies of new books come off the press with things like “the most important book of our time!” and “like Viagra for the soul!” on their covers in front of names of people you might recognize.
ARC’s are also not for resale: hence the label under the front cover.
