Immortal: a detailed analysis (my response)

My response

Last week, I linked to the blog of author Jacqueline Lichtenberg who wrote a detailed an interesting critique of Immortal.  I actually originally read her entry back in November, when she first penned it, and she gave me the opportunity at that time to write a “guest blog” as a response to her commentary.  I did, and it posts today.

You will find it here.  As before, please comment.  I’d love to hear your thoughts.

    Hey Gene.

I posted my response. I think i wrote a novel again. *sigh* I need to quit talking so much. But really, that review of hers, and her comments after, irritated me.

My two cents (I don’t have much spare change at the moment) have been added.

I can’t stop laughing at “utterly unique in the anals of commercial fiction” – because I’m 12, and also because I’d always assumed that’s where most commercial fiction comes out of.

      Wait, where was that!!!?

“From her point of view it’s a Romance. If you’re not a Romance fan, reader or writer, small wonder you don’t think that would be interesting, or that the novel would be utterly unique in the anals of commercial fiction.”
