New Huffington Post article, new SAPPHIRE BLUE review
My Advice
I have a new article up at The Huffington Post this morning. It’s called My Advice Is to Ignore My Advice.
Here’s the secret: writing a novel is really hard. That’s why writers will fall over themselves to tell you how they did it, because frankly nobody else quite understands the degree of difficulty we’re talking about. At the same time, the difficulty is why we sometimes seek out the advice of other writers, especially if we are having trouble finding a way to the ending of our own novel.
A great new review
A review for Sapphire Blue posted on GoodReads a few days back that. while it has some spoilers, it’s quite entertainingly breathless.
All in all, I’m giving this book 4 stars because a) the sex was HOT and b) I was fully engaged in the story and couldn’t wait to find out exactly what was going on. Also, it’ll be a bit before I stop THINKING about it! This isn’t Mr. Doucette’s first book, but it IS his first try at erotica and I think he nailed the erotic part of the story superbly!
